Racist SalesGenie ad portrays Indians as incompetent
Jestons-like Mr. Spacely, Sales VP Hank Bulleymonger, berates and Indian saleman, Ramesh, for being his worst salesman.
Thankfully, Google (Genie) comes to the rescue and points the under performing Ramesh to Salesgenie where, yes, he can get 100 free sales leads. Oh course, the story has a happy ending with Ramesh winning a salesman of the year award.
This is the most culturally insensitive and racist ad I have seen in years. I think the issue with "Ramesh" is his cliched thick accent and his seven children. Plus to rub salt in the wounds, he is also incompetent. Please post your comments.
